Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) is expanding its commitment to providing specialized care for Medicare Advantage HMO members with the launch of dedicated LLUH Medicare Advantage clinics. These clinics are staffed with experienced physicians focusing exclusively on Medicare HMO patients, ensuring that seniors receive comprehensive, personalized health care.

The clinics are designed to address the unique needs of Medicare Advantage members, offering extended visit times to better understand and manage senior health concerns, along with a preventive health focus emphasizing education, screenings, and vaccinations. The LLUH Medicare Advantage clinics also provide comprehensive care coordination, seamlessly connecting patients with a vast network of highly trained specialists when needed.

Open Enrollment Seminars: Learn More About Medicare Options

LLUH is hosting a series of no-cost Medicare educational seminars in October as part of its outreach efforts. These in-person sessions will be held in Banning, Yucaipa, and Beaumont, allowing seniors to learn about their Medicare Advantage and Supplemental health options, including coverage for hospital, physician, and prescription drug plans. Seniors will also receive information on low-income subsidies that may help cover prescription premiums and medications.

Attendees will have access to resources that explain the primary care options available through LLUH, with a focus on how the Medicare Advantage HMO plans work. While the seminars will not feature individual providers, seniors can learn more about their care options from 11 dedicated LLUH physicians and three mid-level providers.

In addition to the in-person seminars, LLUH offers virtual options and private consultations to help seniors navigate their Medicare benefits and care options.
