Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital received a $7,050 gift from Quaid Harley-Davidson on Thursday, February 14, supporting Children’s Hospital care of community children.

The local motorcycle dealership — owned by the Quaid family — has maintained a strong relationship with Children’s Hospital for more than a decade, hosting an annual toy run each December to benefit children at the hospital.

Glenn Quaid, one of four founding brothers of Quaid Harley-Davidson in Loma Linda, said he and his brothers are passionate about helping children in the region.

“Quaid Harley-Davidson’s annual toy run for Children’s Hospital is truly our favorite event to do every year,” Quaid said. “We want to support this hospital. We’re here to help the kids.”

More than 200 people participated in December's toy run event.
