Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center is a recipient of RestorixHealth’s Patient Satisfaction Award. Recipients of this award meet or exceed national patient satisfaction benchmarks over a six-month period.
RestorixHealth launched its Center Recognition Award for Patient Satisfaction program to recognize those centers that have met or achieved a patient satisfaction score of 96% or higher.
The Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center is dedicated to optimizing outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in those patients with non-healing wounds. The approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies and techniques that are proven to reduce healing time and improve healing rates.
Senior medical director, Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center at LLUMC-Murrieta Yoshinobu Mifune, MD, ABPM/UHM, FAAFP, FACCWS, said he is proud of the staff who works day in and day out to ensure their standards guarantee excellent patient care.

The Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine center first opened in 2011 and offers a multitude of specialty treatments for wounds and ulcers related to diabetes, pressure ulcers, venous and arterial diseases, soft tissue and bone infections, burns, failed skin grafts, effcects of radiation, surgical and ntraumatic wounds and other atypical causes. Accredited by the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society, the center has consistently met the highest standards of care and patient safety with satisfaction score of 98%.

The multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses and technicians with advanced training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine are dedicated to optimizing outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in those patients with non-healing wounds. Utilizing advanced therapies and techniques the staff at the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine center have successfully treated over 3,000 wound patients.
