U.S. News & World Report ranks LLU Medical Center #1 hospital in the region*

U.S. News & World Report recognizes Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) as one of the Best Hospitals in the Riverside-San Bernardino Metro Area for 2024-2025. LLUMC has been ranked #1 in the Riverside-San Bernardino Metro Area (tied) and is ranked #19 in California (tied).

This year, LLUMC is nationally ranked at #48 for Obstetrics & Gynecology (tie) and recognized as "high performing" in four adult specialties: Gastroenterology and GI Surgery, Orthopaedics, Pulmonology and Lung Surgery, and Urology.

LLUMC-Murrieta also received high-performing ratings in four standard adult procedures and conditions: COPD, Diabetes, Heart Attack, and Heart Failure.

The annual U.S. News & World Report rankings are designed to help patients and their doctors make informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or standard elective procedures. The "high performing" rating signifies care significantly better than the national average, measured by factors such as patient outcomes.

For the 2024-25 rankings and ratings, U.S. News conducted a rigorous evaluation of more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide in 36 specialties, procedures, and conditions.
