LLUCH patient Holiday Sewell was all smiles at Luke’s Pride Fall Community Day as she was crowned by Miss Los Angeles County Katie Bozner on Thursday, August 24.

Patients at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) were treated to an afternoon of games, activities, giveaways and photo ops at Luke’s Pride Fall Community Day. Local businesses and organizations came out to the hospital Thursday, August 24 to give patients a little distraction from treatment.

LLUCH patient Holiday Sewell, 10, of Desert Hot Springs enjoyed the event with her mom while taking pictures with some friendly mascots including Chipper from the California Highway Patrol, Thummer the Pig from the L.A. County Fair, and of course Luke the Lion from LLUCH. The highlight of her day was getting crowned by Miss Los Angeles County, Katie Bozner.
