Tim Dutton has been appointed to serve as senior vice president for Human Resource Management/chief human resources officer (CHRO), elect, for Loma Linda University Health. His appointment is effective October 21, 2025, and he will assume the full role following the retirement of Mark Hubbard on February 6, 2026.

Dutton is a seasoned healthcare executive and consultant with more than two decades of leadership experience advancing culture, talent strategy, and organizational performance across large and complex health systems. He has been widely recognized as a purpose-driven, community-oriented leader who integrates mission with strategic outcomes.
Most recently, Dutton served as a senior consultant and community development leader with Humanex Ventures, partnering with more than 75 client organizations to shape thriving cultures and strengthen team performance. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Kettering Health, where he held multiple senior roles including executive vice president of Mission, Brand, and People, and chief human resources officer. There, he directed enterprise-wide initiatives in governance, culture transformation, talent strategy, philanthropic development, marketing, and spiritual care for more than 15,000 employees.
Earlier in his career, Dutton served in progressive leadership roles at AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division, where he spearheaded workforce recruitment and retention strategies to support major expansions.
