The 23rd annual Stater Bros. Charities K-Froggers for Kids Radiothon, hosted by K-FROG 95.1, raised more than $198,000 on Thursday, Dec. 5, to support pediatric patients at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital battling cancer and other serious illnesses.

“Our children are among the most vulnerable members of our community,” said Anthony A. Hilliard, MD, FACC, CEO of Loma Linda University Health Hospitals. “Providing comprehensive care to children of the Inland Empire is so crucial. We are so grateful for the partnership with Stater Brothers Charities and K-FROG Radio to support the kids of the Inland Empire.”

The 14-hour fundraiser began at 5 a.m., broadcasting live on 95.1 FM and 92.9 FM from Bass Pro Shops in Rancho Cucamonga. K-FROG radio hosts Guy & Kelli, Heather Froglear & Dana, and Anthony & Pepper, brought energy and inspiration to the event, sharing heartfelt patient family stories, and updates about the hospital’s lifesaving work.

Stater Bros. Charities served as the presenting sponsor, donating $100,000, while additional businesses also contributed generous amounts. These included Farmer Boys, Ontario Auto Center, Hospitality Medical Aesthetics, Whiskey River, Russell & Lazarus Law, Rialto Police Department, Riverside Police Department, Redlands Firefighters Association, Eagle Print Dynamics, and Wyatt’s Auto Paint and Body.

Ronald L. Carter, PhD, Provost of Loma Linda University, brought holiday cheer by dressing as Santa Claus and greeting families who attended in person or called in to donate.

Since its inception, the K-Froggers for Kids Radiothon has raised more than $7 million for Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. The funds provide critical resources for young patients and their families during their medical journeys.
