Two members of the celebrated Harlem Globetrotters team stopped by the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic on Wednesday, Feb. 14 to show some love to the patients. “Zeus” McClurkin and “El Gato” Melendez filled the unit with laughter and energy as they spent time meeting the children and their families. Patients were enthusiastic while watching McClurkin and Melendez balance a spinning ball on one finger, and some even had the opportunity to try it themselves. Community outreach has been a pillar of the team for over 90 years.
