Albert Kheradpour, MD, chief of pediatric hematology/oncology at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, was honored with the 2025 Dr. Leonard L. Bailey Outstanding Clinician Award at the 32nd annual Foundation Gala on April 3. The award honors his lifelong dedication and outstanding service to pediatric patients.
Board-certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology, Kheradpour has served the hospital for nearly 25 years. Since he was appointed division chief in 2015, he has led the hematology/oncology team with a strong commitment to the well-being of patients, families, and staff.
Kheradpour is known for his deep compassion and tireless advocacy and has made an impact on the hospital’s treatment approach, emphasizing whole-person care and improved outcomes. His contributions to the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) trials have helped advance pediatric cancer therapies by generating essential data that informs national research.
The Dr. Leonard L. Bailey Outstanding Clinician Award is presented annually to a clinician at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital who exemplifies a career-long commitment to improving children’s lives through medical excellence and compassionate care.
