More than 20 law enforcement agencies made their way via motorcade to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital during the 22nd annual Cops for Kids Fly-In on Wednesday, Oct. 12. Five helicopters, more than 25 motorcycle officers, four SWAT trucks, and multiple other police vehicles took over the north lawn of the campus with a motorcade of sirens and flashing lights all for patients and their families. Hospital staff along with Loma Linda University students and faculty were also able to enjoy the fanfare.

An event dedicated to Children’s Hospital patients, kids and their families as well as all the spectators were invited to explore the various vehicles and choppers on the lawn after the motorcade. Law enforcement ended the visit by delivering toys to patients in the hospital and allowing the K-9s to offer up some pet therapy at the bedside.
