The 32nd Annual Foundation Gala soared to new heights Thursday, April 3, at the Riverside Convention Center, raising $1.3 million in support of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.

The evening brought together donors, partners, and friends, united in their commitment to advancing pediatric healthcare and expanding access to life-saving treatments for children across the region.

“Every dollar raised, every milestone celebrated, and every child’s life transformed is a testament to the generosity of the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital community,” said Peter Baker, Senior Vice President and Administrator of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. “Because of you, dreams are realized, and futures are brightened. Together, we continue to fly higher, dream bigger, and change lives.”

The event celebrated the progress of the Pediatric Specialty Clinics building, a five-story, 105,000-square-foot facility set to open in 2026. This project will centralize nearly 30 pediatric specialties under one roof, ensuring seamless and coordinated care for children across the region.

Through the Stronger Together campaign, Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital is expanding access to care for the 1.2 million children across San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo, and Mono counties.

The event recognized outstanding individuals and organizations whose generosity and dedication have shaped the success of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital:

  • Nancy B. Varner Lifetime Achievement Award: BIGHORN Cares
  • Hometown Hero Award: Bill and Crystal Wyatt
